“This is the only track on the album where I (reluctantly) explore the idea of looking inward for self-love and affirmation — a theme I’ve often found a bit cringe, even though I know how important it is. It’s something we don’t talk about enough, especially within the context of romantic relationships, where love is so often tied to external validation. The fact that singing about self-love made me feel slightly uncomfortable and vulnerable felt like even more of a reason to lean into it.”
